The first Maltese store opened its doors in 2008 in Santa Venera. Since then the company expanded further and now counts a total of 10 stores, one of which is in Gozo.

Thanks to a team of over 450 employees, Lidl Malta has grown to be the leading discount chain on the Maltese islands. Over the last 15 years we have embarked on a path of continuous growth thanks to the logistical territorial expansion, the careful selection of suppliers and the maintenance of a strong identity that has always distinguished us from all the other retailers.

The only invariable factor since the birth of the Lidl group in Germany in the 1930s has been the guarantee of quality and freshness on a daily basis; all of which are offered at the most convenient of prices. This is why we are proud to be a quality discount store.
