We are promoting increasingly sustainable breeding practices for laying hens.
Lidl Malta intends to remove eggs from caged hens from its permanent assortment of own-brand products by the end of 2025. Eggs from caged production will gradually be replaced with barn, free-range and organic eggs. This goal covers both fresh eggs and products containing eggs.
