Cancer Awareness
At Lidl Malta, caring for our community and our people is an integral part of who we are. Our commitment to cancer awareness centers on education, proactive prevention, and early detection, because taking action early saves lives.
Launched in October 2026, our Cancer Awareness Campaign centers around the importance of awareness and that knowledge is key to stopping cancer before it starts!
Mobile Health Units
For our clients, in collaboration with Action for Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) and the Cancer Research & Innovation Hub Malta (CRIHM), mobile health units will be available at the below Lidl stores. These units are open to the public as well as our team members on the below dates between 9:30am and 2:30pm:
- 📍 Saturday 10th October: Żebbuġ Shop
- 📍 Friday 23rd October: Mosta Shop
- 📍 Friday 30th October: Żejtun Shop
- 📍 Saturday 31st October: Gozo Shop
- 📍 Tuesday 24th November: Head Office & Warehouse (Vassallo Business Park, Naxxar)
Tests that will be carried out in the mobile units include:

🩺Blood Pressure Monitoring
⚖️Body Mass Index (BMI) Assessment
🫁Oxygen Saturation Check
💡Cancer Prevention & Guidance
And more.
We also appreciate our team's health, and that is why through a company-funded initiative in collaboration with Da Vinci Hospital, we provided our female colleagues with a free 2D Mammogram and Breast Ultrasound, alongside a free PSA Blood Test for our male colleagues.
Lidl Malta will be donating €5,000 directly to the NGO to further support the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) in their crucial work in cancer awareness, research, and patient support.
